Residential Mentoring & Support Staff
Sam Masiga is a Residential Mentoring & Support Staff in the Healthy Homes. Sam immigrated to Canada from Kenya with Civil & Construction Management background. His passion for supporting individuals in the community resulted in him moving into the social services, working as a Community Residential Support Worker with St Amant for over four years, before joining the FPS team in 2016. Sam takes pride in community building as a commitment to a life-long service based on his personal and professional experiences. He considers himself to be a passionate community servant with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals in identifying their potential to continue living a healthy life. Sam feels a commitment to supporting clients who have been in conflict with the law and has found a true passion in supporting these individuals transition from institutions back into the community. In addition to work, Sam enjoys spending quality time with family and has a passion for camping, soccer and exploring new places. Sam is proud to be Canadian because of the culture of supporting the community, its diversity and positive people.
