Abdul Bello holds Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, and previously obtained Higher National Diploma in Geology from the The Polytechnic, Ibadan – Nigeria. Abdul dedicated himself to working in the areas of social services and social justice. In Nigeria he worked with a humanitarian organization dedicated to the eradication of human trafficking, child labour and violence against women and promoting women’s rights and social justice issues. Since coming to Canada and locating in Winnipeg, Abdul has worked as a Residential Support Worker with a variety of organizations, providing support to people with special needs. He also furthered his training completing the Disability and Community Support program – Supervision in Human Service Settings (2015) and Foundations in Disability and Community Support (2018) at Red River College.

Abdul joined the FPS Healthy Home Team in 2018, and is committed to providing support services in a manner that communicates respect, promotes dignity, and is tailored to the specific needs and unique circumstances in the people he supports. He strongly believes in assisting people achieve their aspirations. In addition to his work at FPS Abdul is also a Team Leader with St.Amant Community Residential Program.
