Ross McCallum, Ph.D., C. Psych.
Registered Psychologist
Dr. McCallum is a registered clinical psychologist who provides assessment and treatment to children, adults, and families. After completing his residency in the University of Manitoba’s Department of Clinical Health Psychology, he worked at the Child Protection Centre, the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre, and in private practice before joining FPS in 2022. In addition to service provision in community clinics, institutions, and inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, he has extensive experience providing consultation to agencies and to other mental health professionals. He has also supervised junior and senior students and residents in counselling and clinical psychology.
Dr. McCallum’s work with youth includes a wide range of treatment and assessment services for emotional, developmental, traumatic, and behaviour concerns across childhood and adolescence. He works with adults providing treatment and assessment of mood, anxiety, personality, adjustment, and traumatic stress disorders. He has special interests in adoptive and foster family adjustment and in assessment and consultation services for child welfare agencies.
