Jason DeMarce received his Bachelor of Arts (Sociology/Psychology) in 2008 from Brandon University. His interest in supporting clients and individuals within his community started at a grassroots level in supporting youth male offenders within the Child Welfare system as a Residential Youth Support worker. He furthered his experience in providing support, assessment, child protection and case management as a case manager with Child and Family Services . For the last 5 years Jason has worked to support individuals struggling with addiction, mental health, marginalization and poverty in assessing, assisting, referring and advocating on behalf of Employment and Income Assistance participants to appropriate Agencies in his role as a case manager with the Province of Manitoba. Jason is passionate about working with and alongside his clients, bringing empathy and non-judgement to his style of engagement and working from a client centred and strength-based lens to support clients in healthy daily living. Jason finds balance through his work and his personal life enjoying music, cooking, keeping active, time with family and continuing to learn about himself and those around him in how to be a better human.
