<p>Dr. Ellerby is a registered psychologist, founder, and clinical director of FPS, where he provides thoughtful leadership and compassionate care. Since 1987, he has offered expert assessment, treatment, consultation, and training in the areas of trauma, addictions, emotional and behavioural regulation and supporting individuals with complex life and mental health needs. Dr. Ellerby’s practice involves addressing vulnerability and protective factors through clinical intervention to enhance client safety and mitigate adverse outcomes. With warmth, integrity, and a commitment to collaborative care, Dr. Ellerby is recognized for creating safe spaces where individuals and professionals can address their unique challenges, build resilience, and thrive.​</p>
<p>Dr. Ellerby’s clinical practice is dedicated to supporting professionals exposed to difficult and distressing experiences, whether directly or through secondary exposure due to the nature of their work. He has provided care to members of the Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans Affairs Canada, first responders, law enforcement and professionals working in the areas of criminal justice, mental health, child welfare and child protection.</p>
<p>With a distinguished background in forensic psychology, Dr. Ellerby has developed and led programs implementing evidence-based assessment and intervention services for individuals presenting with complex patterns of harmful, high-risk, or disruptive behaviour, including aggression and problematic sexual conduct. His extensive forensic experience includes advisory roles for organizations such as INTERPOL’s Specialist Group on Crimes Against Children, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Department of National Defence, the Canadian Armed Forces, the Correctional Service of Canada, the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse. Dr. Ellerby collaborates with local, national and international organizations on matters of sexual misconduct and abuse, child protection, and professional guidelines, ensuring safety and accountability within the community.​ Dr. Ellerby is also a Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Manitoba.</p>
<p>For over 30 years, Dr. Ellerby has worked closely with Indigenous communities, partnering with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Elders, knowledge keepers, and cultural teachers. He is committed to offering clients opportunities for healing that respectfully integrates traditional Indigenous practices with evidence-based psychological care.</p>

His practice includes comprehensive assessment and treatment services for adults presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns, including trauma, addictions, occupational stress, and mental health challenges related to public safety and high-stress professions. He has significant experience providing consultation and clinical services to law enforcement personnel, first responders, and clients involved with Workers Compensation Board (WCB) and Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) programs.</p>
<p class="my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:pb-2">In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kolton has specialized expertise in forensic assessment and treatment of individuals involved with the criminal justice system, including those assessed as high risk or with complex mental health needs. His background includes several years of service as a Forensic Clinical Psychologist at the Health Sciences Centre and Selkirk Mental Health Centre, and previous employment with the Correctional Service of Canada at the Regional Psychiatric Centre (Abbotsford, BC) and Stony Mountain Institution in Manitoba. He is a recognized expert in Manitoba courts in forensic psychology.</p>

<p>Dr. Rothman is a registered clinical and forensic psychologist and formerly an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology, College of Medicine, at the University of Manitoba. He has provided assessment, consultation and treatment services in child protection, hospital and correctional settings and has served as an advisor to child welfare, forensic mental health and law enforcement programs across Canada, the United States and Australia. As a member of the Adolescent Guidelines Committee of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), he co-authored the <em>ATSA Practice Guidelines for Assessment, Treatment, and Intervention with Adolescents Who Have Engaged in Sexually Abusive Behavior.</em></p>
<p>In his clinical practice, Dr. Rothman provides assessment, treatment consultation and training regarding children, adolescents and adults with a range of mental health and behaviour concerns. His areas of specialization include trauma, childhood abuse, child and adolescent behaviour problems, risk and threat assessment, sexually abusive behavior, interpersonal violence, parenting, addictions, depression, stress, anxiety, anger and developmental disabilities. He has special research interests in the prevention of child abuse; the roles of trauma, attachment and autism spectrum disorders on human development; multisystemic and holistic approaches to intervention and risk management; and how to tailor therapeutic relationships to enhance clinical outcomes. He has written articles and book chapters on these and other topics and frequently provides training for child welfare, mental health and criminal justice professionals locally, nationally and internationally.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Bobbi Walling is a registered psychologist who joined the FPS team on a full time basis in 2011. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba in 2012 and completed her clinical residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto in 2010. Dr. Walling’s previous experience has included psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services at St. Boniface General Hospital, Grace Hospital, community mental health centers, and Stony Mountain Institution.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Walling specializes in the assessment and treatment of youth with sexual and aggressive behaviour problems and consultation with families around managing behaviours of concern. She currently provides a range of psychological assessment and treatment services for both youth and adults, and co-facilitates treatment groups for adult offenders. Her clinical experiences include forensic risk assessments, assessment and treatment of children and adults with anxiety and mood disorders, psychological assessment of individuals seeking sex reassignment surgery, and diagnostic assessments and individual and group treatment of high risk offenders, male Internet offenders and developmentally delayed men with sexual behaviour problems. She has also provided individual and group intervention for couples experiencing abuse dynamics/violence in their relationship.</span></p>

<h3>Registered Psychologist</h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Jakul is a registered clinical psychologist practicing in the areas of clinical and forensic psychology. She completed her clinical residency at the Yale University School of Medicine and graduated with her Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba. She has previously provided psychological assessment, consultation and treatment services at St. Boniface General Hospital, the Grace General Hospital, for the Correctional Service of Canada at Stony Mountain Institution, for the Assiniboine Psychological Group, and for the Canadian Mental Health Association.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Jakul’s forensic experience includes violence risk assessment, treatment for high-risk offenders, evaluations for fitness to stand trial, substance abuse assessment and treatment, and assessment and treatment for developmentally delayed offenders. She currently provides a range of psychological assessment and treatment services for individuals with sexual and aggressive behaviour problems and other major mental health issues. Her forensic research and clinical interests focus on individuals with histories of trauma, severe mental illness, substance abuse problems, the role of psychological resilience in recovery, mindfulness, and individuals in conflict with the law for sexual offending, domestic abuse or other violent charges.</span></p>

<p>Dr. McCallum is a registered clinical psychologist who provides assessment and treatment to children, adults, and families. After completing his residency in the University of Manitoba’s Department of Clinical Health Psychology, he worked at the Child Protection Centre, the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre, and in private practice before joining FPS in 2022. In addition to service provision in community clinics, institutions, and inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, he has extensive experience providing consultation to agencies and to other mental health professionals. He has also supervised junior and senior students and residents in counselling and clinical psychology.</p>
<p>Dr. McCallum’s work with youth includes a wide range of treatment and assessment services for emotional, developmental, traumatic, and behaviour concerns across childhood and adolescence. He works with adults providing treatment and assessment of mood, anxiety, personality, adjustment, and traumatic stress disorders. He has special interests in adoptive and foster family adjustment and in assessment and consultation services for child welfare agencies.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mr. Jason Brancewicz-Lloyd is a therapist serving the Westman area who is involved in the treatment and assessment of high risk and high need individuals. He has been involved in the treatment and assessment of adolescent, developmentally delayed and adult male individuals struggling with sexual behaviour problems since 1996 and has worked with individuals, groups and families in the treatment and assessment of sexual abuse. Mr. Brancewicz-Lloyd came to FPS with experience working in the child welfare system, criminal justice system and private agencies offering services to high need individuals. He graduated from Brandon University in 2006 with a Bachelor of First Nations and Aboriginal Counselling and in 2010 graduate with his Masters of Education in Guidance and Counselling. Mr. Brancewicz-Lloyd’s clinical interest rests in the assessment and treatment of developmentally delayed individuals and youth struggling with sexual behaviour problems. He is also interested in the impact of trauma on child development, the development of pedophilic interest in adults, the treatment of child pornography offenders and the treatment of denied child abuse in family reunification.</span></p>

<p>Krystan O’Rourke is a registered clinician with experience providing assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. She has provided a range of services in community settings, inpatient care, as well as private practice. Her Honours degree was completed at the University of Manitoba. She holds a Master of Child and Adolescent Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Clinical Community Counselling from Johns Hopkins University.</p>
<p>She provides assessment and treatment services to children and adolescents who have struggled with mental health challenges, the experience of trauma, and who exhibit externalizing behaviors. She works within a holistic model, applying techniques from evidence-based practices that suit her clients’ needs at the time of contact.</p>

<p class="mb-1rem"><span style="color: black;">Dr. Rattray is a registered psychologist in Manitoba practicing in the areas of clinical and forensic psychology. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of clients in both community and correctional settings, with a particular focus on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and who face multiple barriers to wellness and reintegration.</span></p>
<p class="mb-1rem">Dr. Rattray conducts assessments in the areas of general psychodiagnostic evaluation, cognitive assessment, and forensic risk assessment. She provides treatment for adults presenting with a range of concerns, including mood disorders, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, personality disorders, intellectual developmental disorder, and sexual behaviour problems. Dr. Rattray obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Queen’s University in 2016 and completed her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Adler University in Vancouver, BC in 2024. She is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care to diverse populations.</p>
