Geordie Angus

Senior Community Integration Manager

Geordie Angus is a Senior Community Integration Manager who received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2011 and a Diploma of Applied Counselling and Psychology from the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling in 2016. Before moving to Winnipeg in 2016, he worked with a variety of organizations in Vancouver including Edgewood Addiction Services and the Lawyers Assistance Program of British Columbia. From 2016-2017 he volunteered extensively with the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba as a group facilitator and peer support worker. He has a passion for working with people struggling with mental health issues, addictions and who are vulnerable or marginalized. He also greatly values the opportunity working at FPS presents him to help those same people feel connected to their community and to help them navigate through complex systems.
